Data quality FAQ

Technical rules define validation logic. The visibility of business and technical rules is jointly controlled by roles, user groups, and quality permissions. Multiple validation tasks can run in parallel, while technical rules within one task execute in the configured order.

Rule SQL can use [[parameter_name]] parameters, with values supplied by the schedule. Issue lists generally require confirmation before assignment to a person, organization, or login name. After an issue is closed, rerun the task or open issue verification to confirm that the actual database problem has been resolved.
