DDM Client FAQ

Import an Excel data dictionary through Model → Import data dictionary. For complex entity relationships, maintain the model in the client after import. Local reverse engineering requires the client to reach the target database; server-side reverse engineering requires DDM Server to reach it.

The model repository provides centralized server management and collaborative modeling. Shared mode permits multiple editors, while exclusive mode limits changes to the current user. After comparing models, choose a synchronization direction for each difference and select Finish to save. The DDL editor supports object filters, type filters, script preview, and export.
