Bulk Edit
Batch editing is used to view and modify multiple objects in the model at once, suitable for unified revaluation and batch checking properties. The list only shows the filtered results, so before editing, determine the object type and property columns to avoid mistaking objects outside the range.
Using Batch Edit
- Select Batch Edit under the Model menu on the top toolbar.
- Filter by object type in the popup and select the type to process this time.
- Select the attribute columns that you want to display.
- View the filtered results in the list and edit them directly.
- Copy and paste between the list and Excel when you need to check against external data.
The figure is a batch edit window. The focus of the view is to set the object type and display properties first, and the list only shows the filtered results.

FAQs
| Phenomenon | Troubleshooting Order |
|---|---|
| The list is empty | The object type filters whether the → attribute column is selected for the → model |
| The object does not change after the value change | Confirm that the edits are the actual rows in the list → Confirm that the editable columns are changed |
| Dislocation of data after pasting | Check Excel and the column order of the list → Check the row of the starting cell |
| Wrong object | Re-qualify → line-by-line checks with filters before changing |
Notice
- The list is a filter result. Confirm the filter conditions before editing to avoid modifying objects outside the range.
- Batch changes are written directly to the object properties, and it is recommended to operate in the saved or submitted state of the model.
- Prefer Naming Settings when naming by uniform specification is required; bulk editing is more suitable for adjusting existing values at once.
